“You always hurt the ones you love
The ones you shouldn’t hurt at all
You always take the sweetest rose
And crush it until the petals fall
You always break the kindest heart
And with a hasty word, you can’t recall
And If I broke your heart last night
It’s because I love you most of all”
I just saw this movie and I must say, it’s a damn good movie. The script, the acting, the cinematography. I especially love the transitions from past to present. I also think it’s brilliant how the past isn’t filmed on a tripod, it’s all handycam to show how they were lost in a moment. But this seriously has to be one of the most depressing movies I’ve seen. It’s also very ‘real’, so be prepared to feel uncomfortable with how raw the performances are. If you want to see a good movie, I definitely recommend this, but if you want to see a movie you can feel good about in the end, just go to your local Disneystore.I need to stop watching movies like this. First Like Crazy and now Blue Valentine. Can someone please recommend me a movie with a happy ending before I die of depression, haha?
true. one of the most beautifully arresting movies, yet so sad.
